    Open, Refresh, Save, and Close linked Excel file

    Hi,

    I posted this in the general Access forum but haven't gotten any responses, so I'm hoping I will have more luck here.

    I have an Excel file (which is linked to a text file) that is linked to my Access database. Can I create a macro to copy the text file from the source, refresh the Excel file to match the text file, then save and close the Excel file?

    I attempted this to open, refresh, close, and save the Excel file but it isn't refreshing:

    Sorry, disregard the Copy to Clipboard part. I think that was a mistake when I copied the post over to this thread.
