I have serveral contact information columns (Primary Contact, Alternate Contact, Alternate 2 Contact, Alternate 3 Contact...) for each servicer in a table. How do I create a Form that will allow me to select a specific contact information (i.e. Alternate 2 Contact) for a specific Servicer. Please see attachment for the dummy table. Thanks
I had a look at your information. As I have little of the remainder of your database to fully understand the extent of it, I will tell you that I recommend you create a tblServicersContacts, with fields like firstname, lastname, phonenumber, extension, cellphone, email, title and I would leave the autonumber field in there, and also have a field called ServicersID. On my Servicers form I would have a subform called Contacts where this datasheet would be displayed. I would create a combo box that would be for your primary contact only, it would have a control source of primary contact in your servicers table, and a rowsource of a sql statement that looked up the contacts from the table for drop down list.
Hope this helps,
Dan
P.S. Let me know if you need some help with this, I can give you some information to read on some of it.

Hi Dan,
I followed your instructions and created a Servicer Contact table. I've also created a subform called "Contact Information" in the master form (Servicers Assignment Form). This is where I'm stuck b/c I couldn't figure out how to create a drop down box that would autopopulate the selected contact information in the subform (see attachment). Please help! Thank you so much!
Am at work at the moment, will try and look at it when I get home tonight.

I looked at your example last night and have an abundance of questions for you:
What exactly are you trying to accomplish with this database?
Are servicer assignments each time you get a service call or is that a company?
Do you do repeat business with a company?
Are some contacts ever used for more then one company?
Are the contacts people in your organization or theirs?
These are just a few that change how things are setup.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Dan
