    Calculated fields

    Hello Gurus,

    I have two columns in my database:

    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    I have a formula in calculated field:
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    the result always return 12:mm:ss tt

    for example:
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    I just want to display the exact result which is:
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.

    You have posted in the Access forum. Is this an Access issue or an excel issue?

    Ok, then. Although recent versions of Access allow you to have calculated fields, it is not a good practice. If data changes, then you need to do a re-calculation of every record affected. You are better served to do your calculations in a query or in a form to assure up to date information. Look at this link on Allen Browne's web site about calculations in tables.

    If you wish to calculate in a query, then your issue may probably be resolved using the DateDiff function. Look at this link for an explanation on how to use the DateDiff function
