I am new to access and working on a project for work and they gave me a simple yet complex (for me) database to work on. I inherited the work but there are to many flaws with it that I've decided to start again. This is to help me understand how everything joins together which is coming along great but now I am having issues with the memo field. Please see below to help understand.
How it works
I am measuring call performance that gets evaluated by every department. They are listened to by managers/coaching staff and the call is put onto an internal site which creates an xml file. This xml file is then converted in excel and put into an access Evaluation table. From the Evaluation table it then gets converted again into a rolled out version onto a completed evaluation table.
I have created the base table and now creating the query to append onto the completed evaluation table. The issue I have is 1 of the fields is a memo field that will not bring back the answer. I have created a seperate query for the memo field and it works fine when you run it, but when you bring it back to join everything together the other queries it does not work. I have looked at the other persons version of this and cannot see the what the issue would be or how I can resolve this issue.
Any help or experience of this that could help.
