We have a customer requirement where I need to get huge data into an excel workbook and create a pivot on it. What is the best way to do this. I am using excel 2007 and sql server 2005. The data is an output of a stored procedure. It has round about 4lakh records. We need a solution where in the performance is optimum.
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. We also have MOS 2007 in case that can help using may be excel web services etc.

Please revert asap given we need a resolution very quickly.
