I don't know if it is bad English or if I am just reading into this more then I should. Generally people don't like to be told "Tell me how to do this." I am optimistic and believe that isn't what you were trying to convey, however, please try and be more careful on your choice of words. Also please goes a long way. One other side note, people here on this site are generally here to help people accomplish what they are currently failing at. Citing examples of what you have tried leads people to believe that you are not asking them to do it for you, but help you in an area you are currently stuck at.

Here are some references to help you accomplish what you are looking for.

Contact Management Database - Good examples here of being able to search a group of records and limit it to just a few. You can then create a form to open and edit in a nicer view if you don't want to do it in datasheet view.

I also strongly recommend downloading the Northwind Database and looking at how things are put together. There are a lot of great examples for starters there.

If you want to purchase a book, I would recommend searching for Access Help Books. The one I personally received the most help from is Access 2007 Bible. It comes with lots of examples on a disc or at least the one I bought did.

    Hope this helps,

    Dan
