Thread: How to export value from a specific cell in access to a specific cell in Excel?

Good Morning!

I am a basic user of excel/access and I am trying to link 2 excel workbooks with one access database as follows:

Workbook 1 will be like a form used to collect data from the customer. This data will be transferred to the access database. Then I need some of the data from the database to be automatically exported to workbook2 (which will also be open), in specific cells for mathematical calculations. This specific cell will definitely not be A1. The reason for 2 different workbooks is that the workbook1 will be used by many users and I do not want the calculations to be shared by so many people!

My main question is, can this be done?

One more question: is there a more efficient way to accomplish the same task?

Switching between Excel & Access is possible, but may make your efforts unwieldy. It would be more efficient to do it all in one application; either Excel or Access can do this entire task equally as well.
