hi I am building A database for all the customers at work, we go out to each customer normally twice a year some times more, the next visit is created from last visit using formula. The months will change through out the year
I need to display the next visit month in a month column for a vlookup function to work.
this is what i I have:
A | B
Customer | Month
1 | Jan
2 | Jan
3 | Feb
4 | Mar
5 | Feb
I NEED THIS:
A | B | C
Jan | Feb | Mar
1 | 3 | 4
2 | 5 |

If you are doing this in Access (you posted to the Access Forum, but mention a vlookup, which is an Excel function), then you will need to create a cross tab query.
Here is a tutorial on how to create a cross tab query to achieve your expected results.

Hi Billy3030
A quick Pivot Table will give your result. No formulas needed.
See attached.
