I have a table full of 'products' which looks kind of like this:
Column A, Column B, Column C, Column D, Column E, Column F, Column G
Product Code, Supplier, Type, Subtype, Colour, Size, Price
I want to make an 'Order Form' where new orders are placed and employees can select the product according to all of these E.G:
Date:
Order #:
Employee:
Order Total: (made from sub-form's Sub'totals - below)
(subform)
Product Code:
Supplier:
Product Type:
Subtype:
Colour:
Size:
Price:
Quantity:
Subtotal:
....but I'd like it so that the subform was like a table so that employees can have lots of different orders for each order form, and so that the employee can type in the product code if they know it, and the rest of the info would go in automatically. Or, with drop down boxes, so if they new what supplier and selected it - you could then only select the 'Product Types' that supplier offers, then only select the 'Colour' or 'Size' that is available... until it is narrowed down enough that the Product Code is automatically entered.
.... Does this make sense - I cant get my head around how I link the data so that this will work!
Please Help - let me know if attaching my 'Products' list would help aid my poor description![]()

If you set up the table with some sample data and a form and post it, we can help you set up the code that will make it run as you want.
Is your code running too slowly?
Does your workbook or database have a bunch of duplicate pieces of data?

But what about forms? How do I attach a form?
Just attach your whole database, or a smaller sample database which demonstrates your problem.
