"Home" Selection

I would like to have the "Home" selection persist rather than having to select it after each workpage entry. As an example of my problem, If I want to color entries into cells immediately after making the entry I have to select home after each entry. Not very efficient. How do I keep the "home" option up until I select some other option?

That's how the ribbon works.

What exactly are you doing that required another tab to be active?

Keyboard short cut is ALT+H

Just do a right click on mouse.
You can quickly attain the color palette in the "mini tool bar" (i don't know the exact name in english) near the contextual menu.

Thanks to all, problem solved. Putting the font color and background color in the mini bar was my selected solution.
