Last number changed to a zero?!
I have a spreadsheet with 16 digit account numbers and excel stores them automatically in scientific notation, whenever I try and change them from scientific notation it switches the last number to a zero. Any idea how to get it to not do this?
Here are some example numbers that I am working with... 8353700210355526 8353700210355567 8353700210368578 8353700210368628 I can correct the problem when I copy and paste by storing the number as text, but I need help when I recieve a batch of account numbers that are in scientific notation switching them to the full number. You need to correct the problem before they get converted to numbers. Once that happens, digits beyond 15 are lost.
If you're entering these numbers, format the cells as text beforehand. |
