Chart defaults for line thickness and axis options

Hi All,
The big green guy here, just wanted to let you all know that we now have the reputation system in place, the reputation system allows you to give a visible pat on the back to those that have helped you or whose information has been helpful.

You will see an icon in every post (Light Blue scales), click this to give the reputation point to whom you think deserves it, a green square appears for a reputation with more and more adding over time.Pretty soon you will see a string of green squares appear in the top right of your posts as your reputation grows and your forum presence!

Chart defaults for line thickness and axis options

I find the default line thickness in excel 2007 is too thick for most purposes, so as a result I always have to go in and change the line thickness when I plot a line chart. It would be useful if it was possible to set the defaults for line thickness and axis options to the values I most commonly use.

You can not change the default settings but you can create your own template.

Thanks, I've now created a couple of new chart templates which is great. One thing though is that it's not easy to see which template is which in the Change Chart Type->My Templates box i.e. they all appear with the same icon without a description - unless you hover over each of them with the mouse.

Yes unfortunately the Template manager is very limited in the information it conveys.

OK so how do I create a template so that everyline is smaller? I am toggling on and off 100-200 lines in my pivot chart.
