Text and Macro help

Hey, Back for some more excel

What I'm trying to do this time is create a macro that would automatically --- scan through a list
- color the blank cell
- and write the no. of blank cell in a separate sheet

Sounds.. complicated??!!.. Well it does to me..

Here's the pic:

1. The original Data: S. No. , Name, No. of Cars, No. of Bikes.
2. Filtered to people without car. Blank Cells Hightlighted
3. Put it the 'Comment' sheet.
4. Repeated for 'No. of bikes'.

And .. Final Comment Sheet:

I know how to record a macro, but have absolutely no idea what the function in this case would look like.
Also would any special precaution have to be taken while recording the macro??

And is this actually possible (or some part of it??).. or am I simply crazy!!

Thanks and cheers..

roy

Is this a 2007 problem?

An attached workbook is much better than images.

Why not use Conditional formatting to highlight the cells?

A PivotTable would probably do this, but without dummy data I can't test it.

Conditional format blanks as red fill

Did you get an answer yet? I just conditionally formatted a range with "Use a formula to determine which cells to format." The formula is +ISBLNK(..)

Then choose the format red.

Is that clear?

Did I attach the .xlsx file with this--I tried to.
