Sort Date Field in Excel 2007
I have a column of dates in the format of
August 24, 1981 January 10, 1983 April 2, 1984 February 11, 1985 May 16, 1985 January 1, 1986 I would like to sort by the month only. I have tried converting to datevalues, doing a LEFT of the field but nothing is working. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Justine |

Thank you. I found the "MONTH" command and I can then sort on that.
