Hi

Each time I copy and paste some formulas in Excel 2007, it takes few 5-10 seconds. It was OK in 2003. Why does it take so long time now, it is the same workbook as I used in excel 2003.

I need help cause it can save me a lot of time.

Yes, if I only copy 1 cell and paste it to anoter cell, it takes few seconds.
This is a big workbook with some macros but as I said it was OK in 2003

I can't see why it should take longer in 2007 unless there are other factors. Maybe the workbook was corrupted when converting to 2007 format.

Re: Excel 2007 copy - paste - very slow

I have the same problem - extremely slow copy operation, file is not corrupted, was created in 2007. At the same time, the same operation in newly created 2003 - no problem.
Excel 2003 copies 250,000 cells with formulas in 2-3 seconds, in 2007 - 2-3 minutes.
Files were identical, created specially for the comparison.
Both excels were with SP2 installed.
