Add same text to multiple cells

    Hi,
I have a list of all my products ( I sell flags) in Excel and need to add eg this text: 150cm x 90cm to a lot of cells, see example belowcells not visible)

    Grenada 150cm x 90cm
    Marshall-Islands
    Maurutania
    Palau
    Rhodesia
    Salomon Islands
    Trinidad und Tobago

is it possible to do this like quick time or do I have to cut and paste >800 times?? Please tell me its possible..

If you click on the cell that currently contains the text you want to copy... then click and hold the little black box in the bottom right corner of that cell....then drag down as far as you want...that will copy it down
Where there is a will there are many ways.

    Grenada 150cm x 90cm
    Grenada 150cm x 90cm
    Grenada 150cm x 90cm
    Grenada 150cm x 90cm
    Grenada 150cm x 90cm
    Grenada 150cm x 90cm

    But i want this:

    Grenada 150cm x 90cm
    Marshall-Islands 150cm x 90cm
    Maurutania 150cm x 90cm
    Palau 150cm x 90cm
    Rhodesia 150cm x 90cm

I see, I thought those were 2 separate columns...

Say your first entry is in A1... then in a B2, enter formula:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
    and copy it down..

then you can copy and paste special|Values over the original and delete the formula column...

edit as necessary if using the formula elsewhere.

Tried but this Excel greenhorn cant get it right, sorry.

    I have put the text i need to copy ( 150cm x 90cm ) in A1
The first cell it has to come in is: C3
The text Algeria is already there in C3.
so it will have to be Algeria 150cm x 90cm
    C4 is Burkino Faso
    C5 is KA- Québec etc

Then in D3 (or some other adjacent cell) use the formula:

    =C3 & " " & $A$1

and copy the formula down then do the Copy>PasteSpecial>Values

Re: Add same text to multiple cells

So if you do it that way, then in D3, enter:

    =C3&" "&$A$1 copied down.

Then copy that new range and go to C3.. go to Edit|Paste Special and select Values..

    Then clikc OK

You can now delete the D3:D whatever range...
