Thread: paste special - with formula & multiply works different in 2007

Hi,

I used to use the paste special - formula & multiply/add/etc. to add some extra flexibility to some of my files (x-rate, %, ... ) but now doing the same in 2007 it doesn't add the pasted formula to each cell but only the value.

Is this a known issue and how can be it resolved?

I don't understand your worries.Let's see this example

I copy the cell B1(5), i select the range A1:A10.Then, i choose paste special and if i check the option multiply, i have:

5	5
10	
15	
20	
25	
30	
35	
40	
45	
50

Is it what you want?

the paste spec. > multiply is ok, it's working. but when you choose paste spec. > 'paste formulas & multiply' then you have to have the formula from clipboard added to each selected cell. and this wokrs till 2003 fine.

meanwhile here i found this issue riported by another guy - he has a better english:

now I have a macro as a solution but I think they should fix this bug.
