I have been having a recurring problem in which upon opening certain Excel workbooks (that I have saved, closed and opened several times), on random occasions the workbook will open but all formatting (and in some instances, formulas) are completely lost. The problem seems to be occurring in files saved in 2003 Excel format that I open in Excel 2007. I cannot seem to find an explanation as to why this is happening. Any thoughts or solutions??
