Hello,

I have a big table , that connected to several other sheets. I have distribution number for 3 kinds of magazines ,re-stock column, old magazines picked up, rack kind.

F G H I
Business exchange drop Re-stock Old picked up Rack
10 Store rack

The same colimn are for Realestate magazine and for BC magazine.

There is many location - it's big table.

I tried to build a formula, that first - will check if there are any old magazines were picked up , then probably the rock column - to see capacity of the rack (there 12 kinds of racks, and the magazines are different size.So on the same rack - will be different number of magazines). Then -if old pick up is greater than 15 % of drop quantity, then divide it by 2 and substract it from the drop quantity. If pick up is zero, then add 30 % more to drop quantity. If the final number is less or equal to rock copacity on this location -->add it to drop column. If it's bigger than the rock capacity, add it to re-stock column.

I'll appreciate any help

Thanks in advance

Tali

Re: Check cell value and change another cell based on precentage calculation

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
