Having trouble converting to '07 to '03

Whenever I convert an Excel '07 document to an '03, it throws an error and generates a blank file. Why is this? Is there something I need to do?

It's not like I have many complicated features in my Excel file. I basically have data in cells, and maybe a graph or two. How would I convert it the correct way?

    Thanks,
    Multimediocrity

It should convert when saved in the later version
    Hope that helps.

It should. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
