is it possible to round to a specific fraction? I am patterning / grading garments and need to arrive at a measurement that is X/32. DOLLARFR returns results that are close, but not exact. Would you be able to recommend another formula?
I have attached three documents;
1. Measurements.jpg - the data I've copied into Excel;
2. Decimal Equivalent of fractions.doc - the expected results of the formula in question;
3. Specs.xlsx - my actual spreadsheet.
And, while I've assumed that it shouldn't cause any "weirdness" to my final answer, the measurement data to which I'm applying the formula has been converted from metric into imperial units.
Any help you would be able to provide would be appreciated!!
Cheers, RBG

I havent looked at your attachments.
To round a value to the nearest 1/32, =MROUND(A1, 1/32)
Microsoft MVP - Excel
Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate
Oh, that works perfectly!! I thought MROUND may have worked, but surprisingly (not) the Microsoft Excel Help verbiage was not very clear.
Thank you so much!!
