    Unhappy Value Error in Formula

    hi all

I have a query regarding a formula in my sheet that no matter how much I try, cannot get it to work.

It seems to be assuming there is text in the IF formula by returning #value!

The formula in question in on sheet strength_monitoring and is in cell L5

I want it to return a max value using the If formula

Any help will be much appreciated

    Best wishes

    Re: Value Error in Formula

When you enter or change the formula, you have to confirm it with Control+Shift+Enter, rather than just enter. This will put curly brackets around the formula, signifying it as an array formula.

you absolute legend thanks for that.

I had an example that had curly brackets around the formula, but wasn't sure why. Now it makes sense and it is of course working.

    Thanks for the help!
