    Size of column/row letters/numbers

This is odd, one of the people I work with did something, and as I am not 100% fluent in Excel, I have no idea what she did to cause it but the letters and numbers are TINY! I poked through the preferences and all the options I could find and I couldn't find anything to change the size of that font. The text and numbers in the worksheet, as well as the rest of Excel are fine, only the top and left A-Z and numbers are effected.

I'd rather not edit the DPI of the entire system, and it's obvious it's something within Excel that got changed, or a hotkey was pressed or some other mistake.

I found it hard to search for this kind of thing because I don't know the exact names of what those are, column/row titles? Everything came up with how to change the font/size of the data in the actual cells...

Edit: It looks exactly like if you went into Page Break Preview mode - however I just checked and she is in Normal view.

Hi Eulogy, welcome to the forum.

Check the Zoom level. Even in normal view, you can Zoom to larger/smaller %'s and it will change the size of the row/column headers.

There is a zoom bar at the lower right corner of the screen, which you can drag to adjust, otherwise go to the View tab and in the Zoom section reset it to 100%.

'Doh, that was it - didn't think to look there

Now she is complaining that the worksheet itsself is too big - for the print preview, it does seem rather large on-screen, and I just set it to 100% view so I'm not sure what more I can do.

Check her display settings in Windows and make sure she's not setup to use large fonts or has the display set to 125% or the large DPI setting (120 vs 96)...
