I have a spreadsheet with two sheets. Sheet #1 contains an abbreviated codeword for which the codeword is expanded in Sheet #2.
I would like to fill empty columns in Sheet #1 with information from Sheet #2. I would like to have this handled by looking in Sheet #2 for a row which contains a specific text (codeword) found in a column in Sheet #1.
For example in Sheet #1 a column contains all codewords, for example it may contain the text "ACRU", I would like to search Sheet #2 for "ACRU" and fill in elements of Sheet #1 with information contained in the row containing "ACRU" in Sheet #2.
What would be a practical way to accomplish this task?
