Hello,
I hope someone can help me with this, how do I remove all up to the first symbol “|” from right to left, see examples below
Examples:
Shirt|tshirt|small|blue|guess 73653 I want to remove |guess 73653 should look like this Shirt|tshirt|small|blue
Jacket| leather vans I want to remove |vans should look like this Jacket|leather
Pants|shorts|size 28|quick silver 534 I want to remove |quick silver 534 should look like this Pants|shorts|size 28
So from the last “|” everything is removed
Thank you in advance
Cheers
Various routes - one might be:
=LEFT(A1,FIND("^^",SUBSTITUTE(A1,"|","^^",LEN(A1)-LEN(SUBSTITUTE(A1,"|",""))))-1)
where A1 holds the original string (assumes strings always contain at least one pipe)
My Recommended Reading:

Works greatThank you.......
