Hi,
I tend to use pivot tables a lot. I find them useful.
My question is, How do I create a pivot that fills in all the data on the ROW LABELS side.
For example, I use make and model of cars regularly. I put Citroen in the first row label, followed by the model in the next column.
So it looks like this:
Citroen Berlingo
Dispatch
I want it to look like this:
Citroen Berlingo
Citroen Dispatch
How can I make it filled in so each line has the make and model? My example is attached.
I want to have all the data in each cell so I can analyze data further. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Chris
Hi, upgrade to Excel 2010. Then you'll have an option to repeat all item labels. For versions before 2010, you'll need to copy the pivot table and then fill in the blanks.

In the shipping version of Excel 2010 the feature is on the PivotTable Tools Tab and then the Design sub Tab. In the Layout icon group an icon labeled Report Layout has the option of: "Repeat All Item Labels"

One test is worth a thousand opinions.
