Hello!
I am trying to create a single chart that has up 8 graphs.
I have attached an example of what I would like my final chart to look like.
Currently I have 8 separate charts (on separate worksheets). I would like to have them all in one chart and stacked. The x-Axis will be the same for all graphs but there would be 8 different y-Axes (don't know how else to say it).
All 8 graphs are column data.
I just can't figure out how to do this in Excel 2007.

Hello again,
I have attached an example data set. (It has 2 charts instead of all 8....for simplicity)
The attached workbook has 2 sheets. Each sheet has one chart and the data values for each chart.
How can I combine the data/2 charts from the sheets to create a single chart with 2 graphs (like the attached example in my first post)?
The X-axis would be the decades (1650, 1660, etc thru 1970) and the 2 Y-axes would be the # of trees.
Thanks for any help....hope this post is more descriptive.

Hello,
I think what you're after is stacked charts with vertical separation. Have a look at this step by step article by Jon Peltier: http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/StackedCharts.html
If you get stuck, just call .
cheers,
hello teylyn,
Thank you for your reply! I looked at this earlier. The only problem I see with my data compared to what they are doing is this...
For each stacked chart, they show one data series. For each of my stacked charts, I will have anywhere from 3 to 10 data series.
This is what is confusing to me. Do you have any advice as to how to add several data series to each stacked chart? I have tried it a few different ways but with no success.
Thank you so much for replying!

Dear all
I need to plot Stacked Charts With Vertical Separation.
Is there a interface for Stacked Charts With Vertical Separation. with excel?
I want to know how to access to Peltier. Is that free?
please guide me about that?
best regards.
Hi,
this is the link to the page
http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/StackedCharts.html
If you use his data, and go through the example. It will help you to understand what he is doing and how to apply it to your data. It takes a bit of time but worth it.
Hope this is helpful!
