Thread: Need help to solve vlookup of unique ID's on multiple sheets

Hi,

I'm trying to lookup certain students in my workbook on a separate query sheet within the workbook. The classes and courses are all on diff sheets.

I've tried - ie: =VLOOKUP(A3,'01:99'!B:C,2,0)
This however did not work. I did also see a forum on dependencies, but I don't think its applicable here..?

Please help if you can....manual work is tedious

So the idea is to determine who on the "Query Sheet" is actually on the provisions list, ranging (currently) from Apr 11 to Jan 11. This will be a growing sheet - ie monthly. I need the lookup to provide the students details and ideally in which month - ie return the sheet name. If the latter is not possible, I'll add another column to specify month.
