Hi Everyone:
Please help! I got this to work yesterday by autofilling, but I can't remember how.
Basically I'm creating a posting chart for SM that needs to be in a certain forma for bulk uploads. One of these posts need to post every 3 hours, every day.
All in one cell, the format must read dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm. I need this pattern to continue.
Yesterday I could use the autofill somehow and just drag the series down - it autofilled the times and changed the dates. HELP!

Hi tiffany and welcome to the forum,
See http://www.jegsworks.com/Lessons/num...s/autofill.htm about half way down in the Copy Numbers: section.
You will need to fill in 2 cells, the second one 3 hours more than the first and select them both and pull the lower right corner of the 2 selected cells down.

When I do that it calculates like this:
30/06/2011 00:15
30/06/2011 03:15
30/06/2011 00:16
30/06/2011 00:16

30/06/2011 03:16
30/06/2011 00:16

I need it to increase every 3 hours, and then change the dates. It did it yesterday - for the life of me I just can't figure out how!
Ok Tiffany
Try the attached formula in A2 and pull it down.
