    using conditional if statements

    Hey guys/girls,

    I want to make a cell equal to one value if a certain option from a drop down box is selected, and other values for other selections. I'm currently using indirect references, but I want to get rid of that superfluous role # column. I don't even know if IF statements are the right way to go. I've attached the an example of the file.

    Thanks.
