Compare attendance to date and training type

    Greetings,

I am creating a table to track training, the dates of the training, and who attended the training. [*]Column A: is set up with a data validation list so that the training that occurs is picked from a drop down menu.[*]Column B: contains the date that the training ocurred.[*]Columns C thru AZ: have headings for each employee listed alphabetically and a data validation list where you select "yes" or "no" depending on whether or not that employee attended that training on that date.

Each employee will have their own worksheet that will display all of the training that is required of them and the most recent time they attended that training.

What I need to do is in each employee worksheet is compare the list of required training (Employee Worksheet ColumnA) to the Training Provided (Training Worksheet ColumnA) determine the most recent training date (Training Worksheet ColumnB) that the employee attended (answered "yes" or "no" in Training Worksheet ColumnC) and display this most recent date that the employee attended that particular training (Employee Worksheet ColumnB).

How can I do this, Thanx

You should be able to do this with a combination of the index() and two match() formulas.
Is your code running too slowly?
Does your workbook or database have a bunch of duplicate pieces of data?
Have a look at this article to learn the best ways to set up your projects.
It will save both time and effort in the long run!
