    Conditional Formatting

Question on conditional formatting. I can't seem to get the formula figured out.

A date is entered in cell B3. Cell C3 calculates the date 50 days from the date entered. Cell D3 calculates the date 70 days from original date entered.

Cell C3 needs to turn yellow when it is 40 days past the date entered in B3. Then turn red when it is 50 days past the date entered in B3.
Same for D3, except it needs to turn yellow at 60 days then red at 70.

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. I have to figure this out by tomorrow and nothing I seem to be trying is working.
