    Combining Data And Total Values

I need to figure out a way if it is possible to combine similar Invoice numbers into one but totaling the values under each invoice number. For example

    09/27/2011 K100112	Moors	Beer	1,304.71
    09/27/2011 K100112	Moors Beer Tax	23.20
    09/27/2011 K100112	Moors	Bottle	57.71
I'd like to combine together to show them as

    09/27/2011 K100112 Moors Beer 1385.62

You could use the sub total function in Excel to total after each invoice number or you could create a Pivot Table.

Here is a link to tutorials on Pivot Tables.

Scroll down to the section on Pivot Tables

Re: Combining Data And Total Values

I went through the pivotting table but Im still unsure on how to do it, number one thing is that it uses the old excel. I'm not that great at excel to be honest but know the bare minimum...

OK. You still need a pivot table and you need to realize that google is your friend. Do a search on Excel 2007 Pivot tables and you will find many hits.

BTW. The actions are the same in 2007 as earlier (not old) versions of Excel. It is only the starting point (the ribbon versus the menu) that is different.
