Date & Location Data Counting

Hey

I have been trying to do this for quite sometime now and I have not been successful.

I have a set of data which has multiple entries of same dates with test locations on those dates. I need to count the number of tests that have taken place on a particular day and also count the number of tests at a particular location AE or RL.

I have used the countif function to the get the no of total tests.

I have tried countif, countifs but something is wrong where and I cannot get to count those location.

Any help would be appreciated.

=COUNTIFS($A$2:$A$18,$G2,$C$2:$C$18,I$1)

Ho Ho Ho..

Cell referencing.. Thank for the idea. It works.. I just have to modify to fit my actual spreadsheet now.
