    conditional format based on date range

    Hi,
    Here is my scenario.
    Column A contains a short date eg 01/12/2011
    Column B has a formula that adds 365's to column A

    I would like to insert conditional formatting into Column B as follows :

    If the current date is within 30 days of the date in column B then the cell needs to turn Yellow.
    If the current date is past the date in Column B it needs to turn red.

    Re: conditional format based on date range

    Select the B range (e.g. B4:B10) and then apply CF:

    For yellow: =AND(B4<>"",B4<=TODAY()+30)

    For red: =AND(B4<>"",TODAY()>B4)
