Hi All,
New to this.
The problem I am having probably has a really simple solution.
I have a column which I enter dates into. I need the column next to it to equal 1 when the date has been entered. Many Google searches have resulted in me being even more confused.
Help help help.

let your date is in A1, then in B1 use
=IF(LEN(A1)=5,1,"") and copy down
