When i try to open a PDF file on hyperlink in excel this message is displayed
" Some files can contain viruses or otherwise be harmful to your computer. It is imp....... would you like to open this file?"
You tick ok then it will display "No program is registered to open this file."
I am using Windows 7 SP1, Microsoft office2007,latest PDF version 10.1
Has any body here encountered the same? Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum plx
try this one.
Steps
1. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE12\excel.exe /unregserver
2. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE12\excel.exe /regserver (wait here for MSIEXEC to finish)
3. Open Excel and close.
4. Open Adobe Acrobat Reader - wait for MSIEXEC to finish-close.
5. Now open XLS document containing hyperlinks to PDF
This should work for you.

displays "cannot open the specified file"
i have been using this excel sheet i know it works i only encountered this problem when i use a new laptop with all this new softwares installed
