    Problems

    Hi

I have a spreadsheet which has the following columns:

Street Name, Number, Area, Collection and Calendar No.

All values are text / numerical.

The column 'Calendar no' value depends on the street name, the values are 1, 2, 3, or 4 which are hyperlinked to a corresponding PDF.

To link them in the first place I sorted them by their values 1, 2, 3 and 4. I was then able to copy the hyperlinks across 1000+ rows which saved me time.

My problem is when I then sort Street Name by A-Z the hyperlinks appear incorrect – the value is correct, but the underlying hyperlink is wrong. Those with a value 2 don’t go to e.g. www.domain.com/2.pdf they may go to 1.pdf,2.pdf or 3.pdf

Excel is sorting all other columns as expected but the URLs remain mixed up. I am expanding the selection when sorting.
    Please help!

    Re: Problems

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

PLEASE PM WHEN YOU HAVE DONE THIS AND I WILL DELETE THIS POST
    Hope that helps.
