    Excel exceptions

    Hi guys, desperately need help on this one. I need to create a exception list for my excel spreadsheet. By this I mean if you try and type a word that I do not want typed in the spreadsheet it will come up with an error message. Looking for the easiest solution to this problem, can any1 please help.

    Thank you for the response. But i do not think i made myself very clear. My apologies. I basically have a worksheet that has thousands of different emails kept on record. I want it to not allow 15 email addresses to be typed anywhere in the worksheet. Can it be done?

    It can be done but need to be setup.
    You need to make a list of the emails you don't want.
    Or create a 2 column table. Column 1 contains all the emails, and column 2 has True or False to indicate that it is allowed or not allowed and use vLookup to see if it's allowed.

    Then in the Worksheet_Change you can check your list and if it's not allowed do an Application.Undo
