How do you get the X-Axis in a chart to update automatically?

I have a chart that I would like to automate. It shows an account balance growing at different interest rates. Along the X-axis is the person's age. I have a cell that is the investment period. I would like the chart to only show that person's age along the x-axis for the given investment period. I know how to change the chart manually each time I change the investment period, but is there a way to make it update automatically?

    Thanks in advance!

    Try this...

You need to setup dynamic ranges using the offset funtion.

Look in the name manager and you'll see some new named ranges which have been included in the chart data.

I'm not so sure about the label, but this is something I will continue to explore.

If you don't understand the offset function take a look in Excel help.

first create a table for last point values.

Add 5 more series that has no line format only data marker and data label.
create 5 more named ranges and assign these to the series.

I have done 3 of the new series to illustrate the approach.
