I am working on a spread sheet. Column A will be (Need By Date). Column B will be (Transit Days). Column C will be (Verify Date).
I want to enter a date in A, a number in B, and C will subtract that number from the days and = what day it should be.
11/20/2011......5........= 11/15/2011
Is something like this possible in Excel?
Sure:
=A1-B1, where B1 has 5 in it
or:
=A1-5
