A formula consists of summing specific cells (H34+I19+J22); later, I need to move the data in I19 to J27. How do I write the formula to pick up/follow the data in the cell rather than reference the cell itself? Right now I have to remember to change the formula, which, if I forget, creates quite an accuracy issue. This example is a teeny-weeny version of the process I manage which consists of multiple formulas referencing data that gets moved around. Thanks for any help!![]()

If you select the cell I19 and then move the mouse pointer to the edge of the cell the mouse pointer will change to a "compass", a four way arrow. If you left click and drag the cell to J27, the formula will automatically adjust ... leaving I19 unreferenced and free for further data entry.
