How do I get a formula to follow the DATA in a cell rather than the cell itself?

A formula consists of summing specific cells (H34+I19+J22); later, I need to move the data in I19 to J27. How do I write the formula to pick up/follow the data in the cell rather than reference the cell itself? Right now I have to remember to change the formula, which, if I forget, creates quite an accuracy issue. This example is a teeny-weeny version of the process I manage which consists of multiple formulas referencing data that gets moved around. Thanks for any help!

If you select the cell I19 and then move the mouse pointer to the edge of the cell the mouse pointer will change to a "compass", a four way arrow. If you left click and drag the cell to J27, the formula will automatically adjust ... leaving I19 unreferenced and free for further data entry.

    Regards
