I am a novice to Excel and needing some help.
How do I get an average of non zero, or non blank cells in multiple columns that are not adjacent?
In my case I have cells b3:b14, g3:g14, l3:l14, q3:q14 and v3:v14 that contain both negative and positive numbers. I need to find the average of all cells in these columns with any value entered other than zero.

Sum the cells and divide by the number of cells minus the number of zero cells minus the number of blank cells.

Thanks for the response.
I understand that is how I would come up with the average. What I am looking for is a formula which will do this for me since I will be adding data into these cells. I understand that this may be something simple that I am overlooking but where I run into a problem is when I get into multiple columns.
Never mind. I found the error of my ways.
Thanks for the reply. It got my head back on straight.
