Thread: email hyperlink from excel sheet not working

Hi all

I am a newbie to the forum and I quite often am able to solve any problem however I am scratching my head a little on a simple little project.

I have set up a worksheet providing customer details and I have a user form that retrieves the necessary data based on a lookup function. Everything appears to be working fine however when i retrieve the email address of the customer, although the data is displayed correctly, when the user clicks on the email hyperlink, outlook opens up the email message editor and a diiferent email address displays. When testing different customers, the same email address appears in the 'to' box in the email message editor and strangely the email address that always displays is the email address of the first customer that I input into the table.

Would appreciate any assistance in populating the correct data.

The reason you keep getting the same email addy is because thats the addy that is hard-coded into the hyperlink (rt click/edit hyperlink)

Not sure how to use to use a variable email addy in a hyperlink tho, sorry. But Im sure 1 or the Moderators can help with that.
