    Protecting the formula

    Hi

Is there (any) way to put a formula in the cell and safeguard/protect that particular cell from deleting/editing that formula?

    Re: Protecting the formula

You can lock the cell and protect the sheet, with or without a password.

As cells are locked by default, strictly speaking, what you need to do is unlock the cells where you want users to enter data and then protect the sheet.

There are various options available when you protect the sheet and some limitations so you'll ned to check that you have the functionality that you require.

    Regards, TMS
