Thread: Not knowing how to use logical questions and transferring data between excel books.

i have two books within a given spreadsheet, one being a specific client book and one being hourly activities for numerous clients during the week and i want an if question that if=cell contains a given client name on the weekly hours sheet to transfer these values over to the specific client sheet in a particular cell in that book.

or an alternative if anyone has a better option.

i hope thats clear any help would be greatly appreciated.


really in better terms; an if question that is based on particular name in the cell if this name is in the cell then it will transfer hourly values to another book which is under the clients name.
