    Combining two graphs

    Friends, Need help.

In my data, the X-axis and the Y-axis (column and row headers) are the same but the data is different. In one table, the data is count of items and other table it is $value of items - shown by month-wise and region wise.

I have built a bar chart group by region in left axis and month-on-month with count shown as bars. Similarly in another graph, same left axis but the bar data is $value.

Now, I would like to combine the data in these graphs and show as one graph where the left side is same but the data shows both count and value.

Pls advice how we can achieve this.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

You can modify the Data Source to select both tables excluding the X-Axis & Y-Axis Headers in the second table. Please post a sample template if you need any further help on this.

My first thought is to plot one of the data series on a secondary axis: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...149.aspx?CTT=1

    Re: Combining two graphs

Yes.. indeed something like this.. but due to several lines and multiple colors, it is difficult to read this graph. Is it possible to show lines of first table as one color and lines of 2nd table in another color.. just two colors. But 1st table color can be multiple shades of say Blue and second could be multiple shades of brown.. how to get this done?
