    pivot table formula please

    Hi there

    Could you please email the pivot table formula for the following:

    I have a spreadsheets with the customers names, order numbers and information about order complition.

    I need the formula, to get the information, how many customers still have outstaning orders based on the complition date column.

    Please find attached.

    I'd suggest you try the 'SUMIF' function.

    Have you had a look at Formulas that might do this?

    The idea of a forum is for you to learn something rather than just ask for answer to your issue.

    There's plenty of info on the internet for you to learn from.

    I am new to Excel. I have used the forum before, and was receiving answers. Once, I know what it is, I know it for future, so I learn.

    What about the values with no 'Completion date', what result do you want from them?

    I would need to know, how many customers has completed orders (by complition date) and how many customers have not been served (no complition date provided).
