no numeric data in historygram

Histograms are created with values, so Im not sure that you can make 1 with text (non-number?)

Just to clarify - do you look for histogram (standard statistical presentation) or historygram - like: http://signifierstudio.com/historygram/

Anyway probably a good suggestion is one of "canned replies":

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need.
Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet (in your case in Before - give some sample data in After - manualy created (in paint or some easy graphical software) schematic graph) in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.
