I have a dataset that contains the following columns:
Customer Name, Customer number, Total outstanding debt, Percentile (Created using function), Greater than Percentile.
I want the horizontal range to only include the customers whose outstanding debt is higher than the percentile range and I want to be able to change the percentile and range automatically changes.
for example if I change the percentile range to 0.5 it will only contain customers with debt higher than the medium but if I change it to 0.75 it will only contain customers with debt higher than the 75% percent outstanding debt figure.
I would like to kept the order of data by customer therefore the range in the chart will be discontinuous. Would it be possible to create a dynamic range using formulas? or is it not that simple.
The only other alternative I can think of would be to sort the data by debt value and calculating the cell the percentile refers to and offsetting against that, thus creating a continuous range.
I don't want to use a pivot chart as using a pivot chart may confuse the audience.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
